Speech pathologist

Duties and responsibilities:

Speech language pathologists assess, diagnose, treat, and help to prevent communication and swallowing disorders in patients.  They also do:

·       Communicate with patients to evaluate their levels of speech.

·       Create and carry out an individualized treatment  plan

Average salary: $69,870

Educational requirement:

Students need at a least a master’s degree. They must be licensed in most state.
