Recreational therapist

Duties and responsibilities:

          Recreational therapists plan, direct, and coordinate recreation based treatment. They also:

·       Assess patient’s needs through observation, medical records, tests, and talking with other healthcare

·       Create treatment plans and programs that meet patients’ needs and interests

·       Evaluate interventions for effectiveness

Average Salary: $42,280

Educational Requirement:

Students need a bachelor’s degree in recreational therapy. Also they will need to take human anatomy, medical, and psychiatric terminology courses.
