Duties and responsibilities:

Diagnostic medical sonographers do the following:

·    prepare patients for procedures by taking a patient’s history and answering

·    prepare and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment

·    analyze the images or test results to check for quality

Average salary: $65,860

Educational requirement:

students need a formal education such as an associate’s degree or a post secondary certificate.
