Duties and responsibilities:

Environmental health specialist uses their knowledge of the natural sciences to protect environment and human health.

 They also do:

·       Collect and compile environmental data from samples of air, soil, and food.

·       Develop plans to prevent, control, or fix environmental problems.

Average salary: $63,570

Educational requirement:

For most jobs, environmental scientists and specialists need at least a bachelor’s degree in a natural science.
